Hilary Swank Shares Exciting News

The acclaimed actress Hilary Swank and her husband Philip Schneider are already the proud parents of twins.
Hilary Swank has revealed that she is expecting her third child, with the newest family member set to arrive in the coming months. At 52, the Oscar-winning star and her businessman spouse Philip Schneider are already parents to three-year-old twins and are now preparing for another addition.
Swank announced her pregnancy on social media by posting an adorable video featuring her family, where they playfully danced with neon sticks. She made a charming entrance with a small glowing stick representing her baby bump.
In her post, she also disclosed the baby’s due date, stating: “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December.”
The couple tied the knot in 2018 after dating for two years. Their twins, daughter Aya and son Ohm, were born in April 2023.
On her Instagram, Swank shared her joy about becoming a mother, writing: “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven.”
The star of Million Dollar Baby has discussed the advantages of becoming a mother later in life, expressing that her established career allows her to dedicate more time to her family. Earlier this year, she remarked to PEOPLE: “It just worked out that I had babies this much later in life.”
She elaborated, saying, “I knew I wanted kids someday, but I wasn’t planning what that would look like. I know it’s so different for everyone, but for me, if I had had a kid in my 20s or my 30s, I think I’d be a much different parent than I am now.”
Swank emphasized that her current position allows her to provide her children with the attention they deserve, a luxury she feels she might not have had in her younger years.

She also noted that her age brings her a greater sense of patience and capacity to handle parenting than she had previously.
Starting her acting career in the early 1990s with roles in films like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Next Karate Kid, Swank gained fame for her role in the 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry, earning her first Oscar for Best Actress. She won her second Oscar for Best Actress in Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood, in 2004.
Swank has also starred in films such as P.S. I Love You, Amelia, The Hunt, and Logan Lucky. Recently, she made a guest appearance in the popular Showtime series Yellowjackets, alongside co-stars Melanie Lynskey, Ella Purnell, and Christina Ricci.
